The Exclusive GP Preferred Athlete Program is a total support system that is designed to prepare both players and parents for the recruiting process by providing total athletic, academic, and moral support.
Personal Interview
After an Athlete accepts the invitation to interview for a place in the “Preferred Athlete” program, a Gameday Prospects Representative conducts an in depth interview with the Athlete and Family Representatives. At that time, a candid discussion of the complete Gameday Approach and the Athlete’s goals are discussed. After the evaluation session, a consensus opinion will be reached on the Potential Rating and a realistic College Target Group of 20 colleges.
Personal Profile and Evaluation
Gameday Prospects’ Professional Instructors and Staff will conduct an Exclusive Evaluation session. The Athlete will be rated utilizing The Gameday Prospects unique potential and performance rating scales. A written evaluation will include test results for bat speed, running speed, and throwing velocity. The Athlete will provide personal information to complete The Athlete’s Profile. The Personal Profile information will be utilized for the Player Information Page on the Gameday Prospects website as well as the Player’s Color Brochure. The Player Color Brochure will be distributed to The College Recruiters at the 20 Colleges in the Target Group. This information will also be available via the website to over 1200 College Coaches and Major League Scouts. The CEO and President of Gameday Prospects will provide a letter of recommendation to accompany any communication to College Recruiters.
Edited Digital Video
The Exclusive Evaluation session will be digitally videotaped and then edited. The edited digital video will be uploaded to the Gameday Prospects website and will be accessible via the Internet exclusively to over 1200 College Recruiters and Major League Scouts, as well as The Athlete. DVD’s, CD’s, and VCR tapes of the evaluation session are available. Copies will be provided to The Athlete and The Target Colleges for a nominal fee upon specific request of each.
Recruiters Exclusive Access Search Area
The Gameday Prospects website includes a unique search area with exclusive access for only College Coaches and Major League Scouts. The College Recruiter or Major League Scout may use the search system to build their desired player at any college level or skill level. Search parameters include profile information, academic and athletic information; as well as performance and potential ratings.
Special Alerts / Promotional Updates
Promotional Updates will be made to the Target Colleges to alert them to timely news on a weekly or monthly basis according to The Athlete’s accomplishments and input from The Athlete. The Athlete’s recent accomplishments may be on the field or in the classroom. These updates will be included on the Athlete’s individual player information page on the Gameday website, e-mail promotions, as well as personal letters and phone calls by the Gameday Staff.
Recruiting trips and Athlete Showcases
Advice and assistance regarding college recruiting trips and various showcases with The Family and The Athlete will be provided. This advice will be available before, during, and after the recruiting trip or the showcase. A letter of recommendation and personal phone call will be provided as appropriate.
